BLOB Statistics supports the following reports:

• Database Summary Report
• Table Summary Report
• Format Summary Report
• Formats by Tables Report
• Tables by Formats Report
• Database: Recognized/Unrecognized Data
• Tables: Recognized/Unrecognized Data

Database Summary Report

The summary report contains summary information about BLOBs for the entire database.

Statistics:

• the number of tables with BLOBs
• the total number of BLOB items
• the total number of NULL BLOB items
• the fill factor for the database
• the total size of BLOBs
• the minimum, average and maximum sizes of BLOBs
• as well as the number of recognized formats

The report allows you to get summary information about BLOBs for the database.

Table Summary Report

The table summary report contains summary information for each table.

Statistics:

• the number of BLOBs in each table and its relation to the total number of BLOBs in the entire database
• the number of NULL BLOBs and its relation to the total number of NULL BLOBs in the entire database
• the fill factor for each table
• the total size of BLOBs for each table and its relation to the total size of BLOBs in the entire database
• the number of recognized formats for each table and its relation to the total number of formats in the entire database

The report allows you to get summary information about BLOB tables in the database.

Format Summary Report

The summary report about all recognized formats.

Statistics:

• the number of BLOBs in this format
  • the total number of BLOBs in this format
  • the percent of the total number of BLOBs in the database (in the table)
  • the percent of the total number of recognized BLOBs in the table (in the database)
• size of BLOBs in this format
  • the total size of BLOBs in this format
  • the percent of the total number of all BLOBs in the database (in the table)
  • the percent of the total number of recognized BLOBs in the table (in the database)
• the minimum, average and maximum sizes of BLOBs in this format

The report allows you to find out what formats are used together with their properties.

Formats by Tables Report

This report allows you to find out which formats are used in each particular table.

The report contains the following information about recognized formats for each table:

• format name (extension)
• the total number of BLOB items in this format
• the percent ratio of the total number of BLOB items in this format to the total number of BLOBs in this table
• the total size of BLOB items in this format
• the ratio of this size to the total size of BLOB data in the table (the size of all BLOBs, both recognized and unrecognized)
• the minimum, maximum and average sizes of BLOB items in this format in this table

Tables by Formats Report

The report allows you to find out in which tables each particular format is used.

The report contains the following information about the table for each format:

• table name (extension)
• the total number of BLOB items in this format in this table
• the total size of BLOB items in this format for this table
• the minimum, maximum and average sizes of BLOB items in this format in this table

Database: Recognized/Unrecognized Data

The report allows you to compare the properties of recognized and unrecognized data for the entire database.

The report contains the following information (for each type of data):

• the number of BLOBs of this type
• the percent of the total number of BLOBs
• the size of BLOBs of this type
• the percent of the total size of BLOBs
• the minimum, maximum and average sizes of BLOBs of this type.

Tables: Recognized/Unrecognized Data

The report allows you to compare the properties of recognized and unrecognized data for each table.

The report contains the following information for each table (for each type of data):

• the number of BLOBs of this type
• the percent of the total number of BLOBs in this table
• the percent of the total number of BLOBs in the entire database
• the size of BLOBs of this type
• the percent of the total size of BLOBs in this table
• the percent of the total size of BLOBs in the entire database
• the minimum, maximum and average sizes of BLOBs of this type.
